2013 UK Pilgrimage for Peace and Economic Justice.
The Pilgrimage from Scotland and down the east side of England aims to focus public attention on the Government proposals to spend £100 billion pounds renewing the Trident nuclear weapons system, while continuing to slash NHS, education and social welfare budgets. It will be organised in stages, and people will be invited to join in walking as many or few stages as they can manage.

A great afternoon out for the whole family!

Woking debates
Woking Action for Peace has joined with other groups in Woking to hold a series of Debates in 2013 on issues of concern.
They will be held on the third Saturday of each month from January to June.
The first debate will be on 19th January 2013 when Bruce Kent will be asked "WAR: Is it justified? Does armed intervention work?" After 20 minutes the debate will be open to the floor.

Norwich Quakers and members of peace and community groups belonging to Norwich Peace Camp will lay a wreath of red and white poppies at the War Memorial opposite City Hall, and hold a vigil to remember all the victims of war.
