Routes to Peace - Annual Big Sing for Peace.
Come and join hundreds of children and community members singing for peace in City Park, Bradford. Workshops for children will be offered in cultural venues across the City Centre, including the Peace Museum. The ‘Big Sing’ will also be a warm up for the Bradford Festival which commences later the same day!
Gandhi Foundation Sponsored Walk
Join us for a sponsored walk to raise funds for the Gandhi Foundation. Meet at at 2.30pm at Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP. We will walk from the Gandhi statue in Tavistock Square (WC1H 9JP) to Kingsley Hall, Bromley by Bow (EC 3HJ) where Gandhi stayed in 1931. Please endeavour to arrive by 2.15pm. The walk will take in the Inner Temple where Gandhi studied to be a lawyer and a number of other sites associated with him and the peace movement in general. The walk will be approximately 6 miles in length and it is moderately flat, though it will be along pavements, so trainers are advised.

We are delighted to announce that the speakers this year will be Jo Berry and Hans Ulrich Gerber. All are welcome, although you must be a member to vote. Please arrive by 10:00 so we can start promptly at 10:30.
Anniversary of Milton Keynes Peace Pagoda
The programme will include a Buddhist ceremony, multi-faith peace prayers, speakers on anti nuclear and non-violent actions, and an afternoon multi-cultural celebration. Lunch will be provided for everybody. We hope to see you there and many thanks for your support.

Corporations, conflict and community resistance
A day of inspiring talks starting at 11am, interactive discussions and cultural activism. The conference is open to everyone with an interest in learning more about the new frontlines of war and how to address them.
Preceded by the War on Want AGM at 10am.
At 8pm there will be an evening of international music and performance, featuring the latest trends in Arabic reggae and dub with the best spoken word poetry around.
