The Story of Local Conscientious Objectors in World War One. Research undertaken locally reveals experiences of Conscientious Objectors from Haringey. The consequences of the actions are presented by Jennifer Bell, of Hornsey Historical Society and Haringey WW1 Peace Forum, in light of how the law operated at the time and the reasons why men felt it was wrong to fight the war.
