Launched at its Open Day on May 15 the Peace Pledge Union’s new exhibition Refusing to Kill, is now open to the public, with a new website Remembering the Men Who Said No and an interactive map about conscientious objection in World War One. The exhibition includes videos and display of rare documents; it also provides a chance to find out more about conscientious objectors from our staff. If you have relatives who were COs we would be pleased to hear from you. Get the accurate facts and the stories of the men and women who challenged the state in time of war and meet the people behind this project. The exhibition can be viewed Monday –Thursday 10.30 - 3.30.
Get in touch with PPU if you’d like to put up an exhibition in your area.
