The 2009 Big Green Gathering was forced to close due to police and council harassment, but a new event ran in 2011 and again August 2012, at a new venue situated along the Wye river and valley.
The Green Gathering 2012 will promote and platform sustainable lifestyles by combining education with entertainment, and follows the tradition of environmental and ethically conscious events established in the UK for over 30 years. The gatherings have developed into the main ‘green’ events in Britain if not the world, showcasing future technologies and alternative energy and inspiring people to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.
