The evening will be chaired by Dr Frank Boulton, with a short speech from Cllr Steven Barnes-Andrews, previous mayor of Southampton, then followed by a speech by Kate Hudson, national secretary of CND.
Members of the public are then invited to lay paper boats containing a lit candle over a large outline of the CND symbol painted on the grass.
