The vigil to mark the end of the 1917 Battle of Passchendale is organised by Reverend Canon Ian Bentley, St. Peter Mancroft Church.
A secular event in which we will remember and think about the loss and cost of war, with music and poetry from the era of Passchendaele. This will start at 8pm, and will be followed by a vigil for peace, with various reflective stations, and prayers for areas of conflict on the hour each hour, and a breaking of bread with one another in fellowship and peace at midnight, when the event will finish.
