Ground the Drones at RAF Waddington, 4 miles south of Lincoln on the A607. Drones based in Afghanistan are remotely controlled from RAF Waddington and Nevada, and without mandate. Drone use is likely to increase as troops return. Please feel free to join this picnic and NVDA.

A British Pugwash discussion meeting at which Professor Paul Rogers, Professor of Peace Studies at Bradford University will examine the new dangers associated with the recent trend towards ‘Security by remote control’ – the use of armed drones, special forces, private military companies and intercontinental ‘Precision Global Strike’ systems.
The Discussion Meeting will be preceded by the British Pugwash AGM from 16.30-17.15, in UCL Physics Building Room E7
